Union Tries to Boost Air Traffic Controller Image
The air traffic controllers' union is trying to repair their members' damaged reputation with a video emphasizing their professionalism and the safety of air travel. Doug Church, a spokesman for the National Air Traffic Controllers Association, says controllers are tired of the jokes and comments they've heard since a series of incidents involving controllers making errors, and sleeping and watching movies on duty.
