Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel Used as 3D Billboard

To promote their new hybrid vehicle, the CT 200h, Lexus transformed a side of the famous Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel into an IMAX-style canvas.

The project required 16 projectors, each weighing about 400 pounds and producing a total of 240,000 lumens of light shining on the Roosevelt. The equipment was set up on the roof of a garage just south of the hotel. More than two dozen people were needed to orchestrate the 8pm to 11pm repeat showing on April 22.
