Travel Gear: TSA-Friendly Sneakers

Budget Travel: At last, a sneaker manufacturer has tackled the airport security line conundrum: You need shoes that are easy to slip on and off, but are also stylish. Adidas's new SLVR sneakers are ridiculously expensive at $140. But they'll hopefully kickstart a trend in shoemakers catering to the needs of travelers.

The shoes look like they're lace-ups, but those laces are decorative. The shoes also look like they're fitted. But actually the soles stretch. They come in only three sizes: small, medium, and large. They're unisex, too, and crumple easily into a carry-on bag. Slipping a pair on and off is especially easy. You'll never have to tie yourself in knots from the stress of the security line again.
