The Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee, is looking for an assistant duckmaster to help care for their five famous mallards. The new hire will guide the ducks on their twice-daily walk from the penthouse to the marble fountain in the hotel's lobby (right).
The duck walk has been a tradition at the hotel for 78 years and draws hundreds of spectators every day. When ducks aren't walking or eating, the assistant duckmaster will also have concierge duties.
