Travel Channel Show Features Missouri Truck Stop

KSDK: Move over "Real Housewives" and the "Jersey Shore" gang and say hello to the Midway Truck Stop in Central Missouri. The Travel Channel is featuring the travel plaza in its new reality show that premieres tonight.

"Truck Stop Missouri" will feature the employees and the revolving door of customers. Midway offers more than just gas. The 12-building complex also features a restaurant, bar, motel, fireworks stand and tattoo parlor.

The show documents several Midway events like cow-patty bingo, a bikini car wash and zombie paintball. If you're really hungry, you can order the "Big 70" which is 70 biscuits topped with 70 ounces of sausage gravy.

Midway Truck Stop is located just west of Columbia off Interstate 70 at mile marker 121. "Truck Stop Missouri" premieres Wednesday at 9 p.m. on The Travel Channel.
