Hawaiian Spa Offers "20 Hands Duo Massage"

NY Daily News: A Hawaii spa is calling all hands on deck for its guests.

Well-heeled and sore-backed visitors to the Spa Grande at the Grand Wailea Resort in Maui can receive a "20-Hands Duo Massage."

For $2,000, couples can experience the feeling of a "hula wave" - the sensation of ten therapists circling the couple using 100 fingers on each guest's body for fifty minutes. The entire treatment lasts two and a half hours.

A gratuity is included with the price, so no worries about having to tip all 20 hands.

"We were just throwing ideas around and were trying to come up with something fun and over-the-top," Stephenie Handley the assistant spa director at Grand Wailea told MSNBC.

There are plenty of appointments open for the rich rubdown - no one has booked it yet.

"We've had a lot of people ask about it and a few people even book reservations, but so far the only people who've been able to enjoy the massage are staff," Handley said.
