The 30 metre (98 foot) circle, with an hourglass shaped centre and circular border, was spotted by ground-staff at Tamworth’s Drayton Manor Theme Park this morning.
On closer inspection, staff realised that the symbol had been scorched into the grass leaving it black and they are at a loss to explain how or why it’s appeared. Photographers have snapped the strange sign hoping that someone will be able to shed some light on it.
Olli Parfo from Gotcha photography, who took the photo, said: “The symbol is extraordinary, perfectly symmetrical and perfectly circular like a giant watch face. We’re not experts on alien activity, but we know that there must be people out there who can identify this unusual symbol and can give us a clue as to why it’s appeared at Drayton Manor Park.”
