'Naked Pool' Opens in Las Vegas

AOL Travel: The off-Strip Artisan Hotel Boutique in Las Vegas is hopping on the party pool trend by opening the 'Naked Pool' this weekend. Despite the suggestive name, the re-branding of this hotel's backyard pool is a little misleading: you can't strip down completely, but women are allowed to strut around topless if they choose.

The hotel is one of several Sin City hotels that has turned the poolside into a party venue featuring DJs, sexy staff members, and themed events. Other topless venues around Vegas include the Bare Pool Lounge at The Mirage and a guest-only pool at the Wynn Las Vegas.

Instead of lawn chairs, the Mediterranean-style pool at Artisan features oversized daybeds. And since the pool is off the Vegas strip, it won't be packed with partygoers.

"While at the mega-resorts you are stuffed into the pool crammed with bodies, our pool parties will offer a completely different feel and vibe," Michael Crandall, director of business affairs for The Siegel Group, which the hotels, tells USA Today. "It's about having a great place to chill for the day, have some drinks, enjoy great music, and escape from reality. No long lines and thousands of people."

Events at the Naked Pool will go down seven days a week, and include "Beer Goggle Monday," "Topless Tuesdays," "Wasted Wednesday," and "Finger Paint Saturdays." Women and locals often get in to the pool for free, and the average entrance fee for out-of-town males is $10 – a good deal compared to mega resorts along the Strip.

If you are seeking a sexy party on the Strip, look no further than the weekly "Rehab" parties hosted at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, set to return this weekend. Lines are known to form before noon for the Sunday night soiree, and although women must keep tops on there is little left to the imagination.
