Easy Destination: California tourism is hoping that (the upcoming) visit of the British royal couple Prince William and Kate will boost tourism. California tourism sees the newlywed Royal Couple as a major tourism draw for the state.This will be the first visit of the Royal Couple to California after getting married. So far there is no confirmation about the places they will visit in California. The royal couple however have short listed Los Angeles and nearby places for their visit.
There are speculations that royal couple will meet a few Hollywood celebrities on their trip. Some possible names include Elton John who was close friend of Princess Diana and England's Soccer star David Beckham. They might even attend the LA Galaxy match scheduled for July 9.
Some destinations like San Francisco, Death Valley and others feel disappointed for being left out. They have missed a huge tourism opportunity. However no matter where the royal couple may decide to travel, (all of) California is going to be benefited
California Tourism officials are saying that the visit of the couple could strengthen tourism recovery of the state. The media attention surrounding the couple will spur demand of California and is likely to attract more tourists.
